DENNIS FERRER MEMORIAL DAY BASH @ THE FUNK BOX

It was open season Sunday nite as Objektivity’s own Dennis Ferrer took over the Funk Box at famed New York hot spot, The Sullivan Room. DJs such as Mr.V, Kervyn Mark, and Tommy Bones came to see Denis do his thing on the 1 & 2’s.As I entered the club, it was already packed like a can of sardines. Jovonn was already finishing his set, which was why I was a little disappointed that I hadn’t arrived earlier.
Dennis took over the set in full form and had the crowd in frenzy with his rendition of remixed classics and, of course, the popular track that ever hit the clubs to date, ‘Hey Hey’. By the time Dennis was done, the place was hotter than Africa, in Summer.
Of course, the Funk Box maestro, himself, Tony Touch came on the set and ripped it up the remainder of the night, giving the dancers some more musical treats. I was soaked with so much sweat from dancing, I needed to wring my shirt out by the time the nite was through.
This was one of them rare opportunities. Shame on it all if you missed out, but no worries. Here are his tour dates for the rest of the year:
