Franky Rizardo Starts New Year With 'The End EP'

Off the back of a string of acclaimed releases and a successful touring schedule in 2012 Franky Rizardo has firmly established himself as a hugely talented and innovative DJ and producer on the international dance circuit. The Dutch whiz kid impresses once again with his first offering of 2013. ‘The End’, featuring sassy South East London vocalist Tess Leah, is yet another pumped up tech-tinged house delight.

With its tribal-esque beats, chunky chords, full bodied top line vocals and classic euphoric breakdowns, this catchy cut is perfect for peak time party vibes. Meanwhile, Franky’s Re-Rub is a more abstract but equally upbeat take on the original with its trance like synths and up tempo percussion. This release also features ‘Miami Vice’, a samba reggae inspired cut which, once again, showcases Rizardo’s percussive talents; the complex timbal drum rhythms and body shaking Afro Brazilian flavours transporting you to the sun drenched carnival streets of Salvador de Bahia.

Franky Rizardo plays London’s Ministry of Sound 9th February alongside Tensnake and Nicky Curly – full line-up and tickets here: http://www.ministryofsound.com/club/listings/
