NEW MUSIC: KASTLE’s Debut Album Out Today + May Live Tour Dates

Kastle’s highly anticipated self-titled debut album Kastle drops today, April 23, on his label Symbols Recordings. The album features Kastle’s dynamic signature sound: a forward-thinking fusion of garage, house and bass music with R&B-style melodies from Ayah Marar, JMSN and many more. Listen to three album tracks — “Things We Can Do” ft. Reva DeVito, “Red Light” ft. Ayah Marar and “Make You Stay” ft. JMSN — on his mix for Skrillex, Diplo and A-Trak’s electronic music network Potato Will Eat You here.

Featuring 15 tracks, Kastle provides soulful, bass-infused music full of ethereal atmospherics, catchy vocal melodies, garage and house-inspired rhythms, and what has become the voice of Kastle: keyboard solo, which he will take on his first ever live tour of North America this May (see dates below). With Earmilk describing “Make You Stay” ft JMSN as “smooth as silk” and “Red Light” ft. Ayah Marar seeing play on KCRW, Rinse.fm and BBC Radio 1, Kastle is set to continue elevating his unique take on electronic music to otherwordly heights.

Kastle, who recently made his Coachella debut, is the tastemaking label boss behind Symbols Recordings. Last year, his track “Stay Forever” from the eponymous EP reached the iTunes Top 10 Best Electronic Songs of 2012, and he embarked on his highly successful ‘Stay Forever’ tour across North America, and into Australia and New Zealand. Kastle has garnished strong media attention from the likes of XLR8R, Resident Advisor, URB, MTV Hive, Fact Magazine and more.
