Deadmau5 To Perform At GRAMMY Awards

The Recording Academy, you know, that mysterious team of people behind the GRAMMY Awards have announced that they will be giving Electronic music some stage time via a performance by Deadmau5 alongside David Guetta, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and the Foo Fighters, during the 54th Annual GRAMMY® Awards.

This is being heralded as the first time electronic music gets center stage during the GRAMMY’s, but I’m not so sure about that, didn’t Daft Punk perform a few years back? Anyway, the GRAMMY’s will air on Sunday February 12 at 8 p.m ET/PT on CBS and Deadmau5 who is nominated for three GRAMMY Awards including Best Dance/Electronica Album for 4×4=12, Best Dance Recording for ‘Raise Your Weapon,’ and Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical his Foo Fighter’s remix of ‘Rope’, is sure to give a good show.
