Teena Marie Passes At 54

Teena Marie, the 54-year-old singer, who made her debut in 1979 and worked with the likes of Marvin Gaye, the Supremes, Stevie Wonder, and more throughout her career was found dead in her Pasadena home on Sunday.

She was known as an R&B star, but party people loved her for her classic dance hits such as ‘Square Biz,’ ‘It Must Be Magic,’ ‘Fire and Desire,’ and many more. She released what is to be her last album ‘Congo Squared’ last year.

She leaves behind a daughter.
