NEW MUSIC: Kid Massive & Disfunktion "Amrock"

You would think living in two different countries and traveling the globe as jet-setting DJs would make it hard to collaborate, but that is not the case for Kid Massive and Disfunktion who have just released the big room banger ‘Amrock’ while never actually being in the same room together.

Kid Massive aka Ben Pedersen lives in London, whilst Disfunktion’s Bart and Mike are from Amsterdam. Working in their respective studios and using the power of file sharing and the type of understanding only a friendship and deep respect can provide, the three were able to create their first colaboration.

The resulting tune is not a mish mosh of fragmented and incomplee ideas made for the sake of having a single in this EDM crazed market. On the contrary, the three worked together as if they were a team working together in the same studio, in fact, the distance might have helped. Just listen to Disfunktion tell it, “In hindsight being in different studios in different countries worked really well. By sending it back and forth we were both able to tweak and feed off each others work. Be it the bass, kick or all important riff the track was continually refined over a period of months till we knew we were happy and ready to Amrock it!”

Seems to have worked really well too. The track is already receiving support by Matisse & Sadko, Thomas Gold, Alex Gaudino, Avicii, Tiesto, Judge Jules, Tom Swoon, Kim Fai, Jesse Voorn, just to name a few.
