There is simply not enough room to list all of Louie Vega’s accomplishments as a DJ, producer, and artist throughout his 20 plus year Grammy winning career. He has produced, remixed, and been involved in classics for both the dance floor and the radio. From the underground sounds of the city, to the native sounds of South America and Africa, from Jazz to Hip Hop, Latin and Soul, Vega has worked with the biggest stars from countless countries on almost every continent to bring us some truly memorable hits. The same scope is heard during his world-renowned DJ sets.

Vega doesn’t simply spin records, he takes you on a trip around the world. Simply put, Vega has helped establish DJ culture as a formidable and respected medium throughout the world by bringing all its sounds into the DJ booth. And that’s quite possibly the most important aspect of his legacy, that he has helped us realize music truly is the universal language like no DJ before or since.
